We’ve been so busy, yet we love to keep things in perspective.
When we feel ourselves rushing, running and gunning during the week, and barely had a chance to breath, we know its time…
We packed up the little Jeep and headed out to our gorgeous deserts, Anza Borrego. We hear it’s about to be a super super bloom, so we wanted one last chance to have this place we love to ourselves before the rush of visitors comes through. The super bloom is a sight to see. It brings endless caterpillars feasting on the plants which drives swarms of hawks diving into the field for a grubby caterpillar afternoon snack. Its beautiful.
It was a weekend or winding Jeep trails, starlit campfires, and endless flowers. With all this rain, I don’t think I have ever seen so much green out here.
We feel rested and ready for another week. Am I the only teacher counting down until spring break?
